Join Our Team
We are looking for volunteers to assist in several facets of the race, including preparation, course marking, aid station setup, aid station management, and event tear-down.
Experience the race from a different perspective. New to ultra running? New to running?! Volunteering is a fantastic way to learn what ultra running is all about.

Bringing People Together
Volunteering at a race is all about community. As runner after runner passes through each aid station, it will soon become apparent that fellow volunteers are one of the few constants on race day. It's a truly great way to get to know some (more than likely) very cool people. That leads to our primary focus for volunteers: Be happy and enjoy yourself! It's infectious, happy aid is a happy runner. (blister jokes not required)
Ok, now you must be convinced... right?!
Make a Difference
Volunteers are critical in every aspect of the race, and ultimately, it's success. Don't be discouraged though, making an impact is easy! Volunteers are mainly responsible for: Ensuring that the food and beverages provided at their aid station are readily available for runners. Checking runners in to the aid station as they arrive. Keep runners moving. This is more about assisting runners with anything that may be preventing them from leaving the aid station. Ensure each runner is safe. Sometimes, situations less than perfect present themselves. Whether it's a dangerous lightning storm, a pulled hamstring, or dehydration, nobody should be put in harms way. But don't worry! We only ask that you stay within your abilities. If you don't know two things about first aid, no worries.
Remember, you don't need to be a seasoned runner. Heck, you don't even need to be a runner. Volunteers are a HUGE bonus and we would be thrilled to have you.
